Mitsubishi’s display at Detroit
Just hurry up and put Mitsubishi out of their misery.

They have a bigger display at Atlanta than that. I’ve sat in an Outlander Sport and regular Outlander multiple times and I remember having good room inside of them both, especially the Outlander. The normal Outlander is huge inside!

Please clap.

I really feel bad for how far they’ve fallen...I’ve always quite liked the Lancer! :(
It’s poignant that the banner is falling off the back wall and there isn’t even anybody staff-wise from Mitsu at the both to put it back up, let alone even try to put it back up...

They had a surprisingly proper display at the LA Auto Show. Big screens, a race car, and various cars on display.

The most recent Mitsubishi’s that interest me are the last US Montero and the 2nd to last Diamante face lift. As far as Japanese sport compacts go, I’ve always preferred the WRX over the Evo. It’s kinda sad that it’s been at least 13 years since they’ve made a car I like.

Interestingly Mitsubishi is the fastest growing non luxury brand.

And yet there is a brand with fewer cars:

At least the Pacifica sells.

True. On the other hand, the 300 is slated for retirement, and the rumors are that while the Charger and Challenger will continue on a new platform, the 300 will not. FCA certainly could badge engineer some stuff, but the future does not look bright for Chrysler. Seems most likely the Pacifica just becomes the new Caravan, and Chrysler goes away.

Well last year at the auto show here they had that red Evo that was still there.

I actually don’t remember, Mitsubishi stands are usually a blank area for me.

There’s apparently two Chrysler crossover vehicles on the way, but FCA’s plans seem to change day to day.
It wasn’t long ago that they announced a FWD 300 replacement, then backtracked and said it would use the Giorgio platform, and now are off of that idea.

Their booth does a good job of emulating their real-life dealerships, complete with the dim lighting and the temporary-looking banner partially falling down.

I just remember sitting down and thinking:
1. That wing ruins rear visibility
2. This car feels really small inside
3. Huh it’s a 5 speed.

Correction, just give us the good shit they make! Well equipped Delicas are fucking awesome.

The new electric plug in one is selling here, other than that I haven’t seen one in many years.

Mitsubishi are still a thing elsewhere...no need for Renault or Nissan to shoot them yet.

Did they seriously not even bother to bring an Outlander PHEV? (That looks like the normal ICE one...)

Bye, Daihatsu. Bye, Isuzu. Bye, Daewoo. Bye, Suzuki. Bye, Mitsubishi.

Hopefully under new leadership, FCA stops making awful decisions and gets with the program.
I’d like them to start with making the back end of the Pacifica not as god-awful to look at as it is.

I’m pretty sure they still make good cars, the only catch is they’re for Japan only.
